Support for the South Thurston United Food Bank (S.T.U.F.)
In 2009 members of the Rochester United Methodist Church collected and delivered over 2,240 pounds of non-perishable food product plus personal care items to the South Thurston United Friends (S.T.U.F.) Food Bank in Rochester. The congregation also donated over $2,500 in cash which is used by the food bank to purchase perishable items such as fresh eggs and hamburger.
We are proud to participate in supporting the Food Bank in their efforts to provide both food and personal care items to those in need within the Rochester area, and pledge to continue our efforts throughout 2010 and into the future.
