Thrift Shop

Rochester United Methodist Church operates a small part-time Thrift Shop on church property located at 18214 Corvallis St., Rochester. Volunteers and Donors work to provide affordable household goods for sale in our effort to serve and enrich our church’s relationship with our community and surrounding area.

Important:

• Until further notice, due to Covid-19, appropriate FACE MASKS must be worn when inside the Thrift Shop
• We accept cash only

Donations:

We gratefully accept gently used items during our open hours, or by appointment (please leave a message at 360.273.5000).

How you might help:

We need sellable donations and we appreciate our generous donors!  In donating, please seriously consider the condition of the items.

We CAN accept (as examples):

• Housewares & cooking utensils
• Pots & pans
• Decorative items & art
• Toys, puzzles, games, craft, hobby
• Sewing supplies
• Needlework items
• Linens and small rugs
• Light bulbs
• Tools (small, handheld)
• Jewelry, purses, belts
• Books
• Hand & garden tools (no lawn mowers)
• Sporting goods
• Small light fixtures and lamps

We cannot accept: Items that are broken, torn, dirty, wet, damaged, missing pieces or any of the following:

• Computers and peripherals, fax machines, printers, scanners
• Televisions, large stereos
• Tires
• Paint, motor oil, chemicals
• Large appliances
• Plumbing fixtures
• Mattresses
• Furniture and large rugs
• Ski equipment
• Large overhead light fixtures
